Kitchen demolition begins today!

We’ve been waiting SOOOO LONG for this project to happen, and now it’s really happening!!! It’s kind of horrible (because it’s been a crazy week and I’ve been solo parenting and on top of everything else going on, I had to pack up the whole kitchen and haul everything out in a big hurry) but it’s also very exciting to feel like we’re really doing this!!

Now everything from the upstairs kitchen is getting crammed into the galley kitchen in the apartment downstairs. It’s not an easy fit- I’m cursing our Costco membership because why do we even have a lifetime supply of brown rice and breadcrumbs and where am I supposed to put it all now?! Anyway we’ll make it work somehow, and this will be our kitchen and livingroom for the next six weeks or however long it takes to get our livingroom and kitchen back in working order again.
